  • Laboratory testing which you have agreed to

  • Healthcare services (eg your GP or hospital specialist) involved in your care, whose details you have provided to us.

We use this information to provide direct healthcare to you. This means that the legal basis of holding your personal data is for legitimate interest.

How we use your personal data

We use your data to fully understand your health needs and concerns, to provide medical services tailored to your individual needs.

Information may also be shared:

  • With your written consent, with partner laboratories and healthcare colleagues eg nutritional therapists for testing and interpretation of your results

  • You may request that results or reports are shared with your GP or other healthcare provider specified by you

  • We agree that it would be advisable to refer you onto another healthcare professional


We adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018. We do not share personal information with third parties unless you have provided consent or are required by law to do so.

How do we store your data?

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Within the health sector, we must follow the common law duty of confidence, which means that where identifiable information about you has been given in confidence, it should be treated as confidential and shared for the purpose of providing direct healthcare.

We ensure that the information we hold is kept in secure locations, protecting personal and confidential information held on equipment.

All records held by Our Clinic will be kept for the duration specified from our professional association with the General Medical Council (GMC).

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for seven years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
